I wanted to build the website for Empirical, but also have a blog where I could start sharing my journey about building a software…development company in the US. The main requirements where: ¶ I want a nice website ¶ I want a simple blog platform where I could write and engage with people, friends and followers. ¶ I wanted to spend the least amount of time and money for the setup. ¶ I started investigating Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com, I in fact created a version of Empirical in Wordpress.com. Empirical has born
It is about time to start working towards it. I am from Argentina, and I live, with my wife and my two kids, in San Diego, CA. I worked for…great companies in the past, such as Motorola, and I still do for Disney (I am currently acting as Lead Software Engineer for the Sandcastle Studio, down at Solana Beach office). I love them, and I am still learning a lot by working for them, but now, it is time for me to start capturing value for my own future. ¶ Empirical is a software development shop, with the goal in the short to mid term, to help entrepreneurs who need web and mobile applications done.Sebastian PereyroJan 6
Riding on hood.ie
I have a full time job, two kids, a wife, lots of friends and family to keep up with, when do I release my kick for building prototypes for…my web apps ideas? There is no time… but, but I found something that it is most likely what I wish I had several years ago. It is something a fine team from Berlin has been working on. It is called hood.ie, and so far I like it a lot, I like the concept, I like what they have so far, and most importantly, I like their vision. I recommend anyone to give it a try. It might enable you to proto-build an idea in a couple of hours, maybe while you skip that weekend nap. :DSebastian PereyroDec 17, 2015
